About Conferences

This year’s edition of the International Conference on Gambling will take place on 11 November and will once again provide a platform for open discussion on gambling regulation, current legislation, and market developments. As in previous years, it will connect the Czech environment with international experience and bring to Prague experts who will offer new perspectives on challenges shared across different jurisdictions.


The second conference day will follow seamlessly on 12 November under the title Prague as the Heart of Responsible Gambling. It will focus in particular on social responsibility, prevention, and tools for safer gambling, with a strong emphasis on the protection of vulnerable groups of players.


Consumer protection, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups of players, will be the connecting theme of both conference days.


Together, the two conferences will address key current topics such as match-fixing, illegal gambling and its enforcement, digital addiction, and education.


This year’s edition is also symbolic for us. It marks the 5th conference we have organised, and at the same time the Responsible Gambling project celebrates its 5th anniversary.
